I've decided it's probably easier to have the chapters not posted here directly, though I guess this method is still somewhat pending.
I have added a section on the side for you to download the chapters via MediaFire. They are all .pdf documents. The Easyread Version basically contains more name changes so you don't get so confused. It's essentially the same as the basic version, except that the basic version merely uses 'Kagome' and 'Inuyasha'. (The EVersion uses 'Kagomaru' and 'Inuyouko'. Makes it less confusing since the mental image will be different.)
So I might post some previews here with the links, but ultimately, they'll be availiable through the downloading. They're only 209kbs or so anyway, so it shouldn't be that great a deal.
Chapter 1 Preview is availiable in previous post.
Chapter 1 downloads:
Chapter 1 (pdf)
Chapter 1 (Easyread Version) (pdf)
Note: Both are labeled DRAFT v.2.1 because essentially, I may still change it. If I do though, I will of course post an update. It is version 2 though, so it should be ok, unless I spot something that I really need to change...
Please comment if you do read, so I can improve, ne?
Over and out...? I'll make pictures if I have time... xD Or you can make do with my sketches?

Chapter 1 - Preview
Prologue ::– DRAFT Preview.
Inuyasha – Seitenkan Monogatari (Genderbending Story)
Chapter 1
A loud crash emanated through the air as a large plume of smoke rose from the burning, collapsing building that had been the village’s Shinto shrine only moments before. The figure in the midst of all this crises was all too recognizable to the villagers, who had seen her around the town all too many times before.
“It’s Inuyasha!”
“Inuyasha’s attacking, run!”
A female demon sailed through the air almost effortlessly in the wake of the scrambling villagers, her long silver hair flicking out behind her in a silver banner as she escaped from the scene. Dressed in a red hakama and haori, she stood out as it was, but what distinguished her most from her kind were the two triangle shaped ears on the top of her head which looked like either a cat’s or a dog’s. Now in her clawed hands, she clutched a mystical round pink jewel on a beaded string.
“Ha ha ha ha ha.” She laughed, as the villagers pointed at her, recognizing her and fearing her in the wake of their missing Shinto priest. “Too bad. I’m taking this Shikon no Tama.”
Although her voice was mocking, when she turned to launch herself in motion once again, her features were grim. Now that I have this, I can become a real youkai. She thought, as she reached the edges of the village.
“Inuyasha!” A voice cried out, and in the time it took for Inuyasha to turn to this sudden sound, an arrow plunged into her chest and through, securing her to the tree behind.
“K-kikyoshi.” Inuyasha muttered in surprise as she stared at the solemn form of the village’s kannushi, one hand outstretched with the long bow held in it, and the other further back from releasing the string which had propelled the arrow to its final destination. That man. Inuyasha thought viciously. How dare he? She was meant to be a demon, not defeated by such worthless mortals.
But her vision was dimming even as she watched. Could this be death? Her eyes drifted shut and she slumped against the tree, limp as a doll, only the shaft of the arrow which secured her to the tree preventing her from collapsing in a heap at its base.
As the last of the fire was put out, the charred wooden pillars of the shrine that-once-was smoked and steamed and flakes of charred material floated into the air. The villagers immediately started whatever recovery they could. Kikyoshi did not join them, however, as he slowly approached the motionless Inuyasha, picking up the Shikon no Tama out of a puddle of blood which stained the earth.
“The Shikon no Tama.” He said with an air of reflection, gazing at the pink jewel. “Because of such a thing.” There was a hint of melancholy in the statement.
Kikyoshi suddenly coughed and came down onto his knees, blood trickling from his mouth. Blood deeply stained the right side of Kikyoshi’s jo-e and was slowly dripping into the dirt, more blood seeped from the crown of his head. Villagers who had emerged to salvage what they could rushed over into the immediate vicinity.
“Kikyoshi-sama!”
“That’s a horrible wound.”
“Onii-sama.” Kaedeo, Kikyoshi’s younger brother, appeared at his side, his left eye bandaged in an amateur wrapping. “Quickly, we must get you treated.”
Kikyoshi did not reply to that. He already knew he was too far gone. His vision was beginning to darken as more blood slowly seeped from the wound. He recognized the signs, though never thought he would experience it so soon. Soon he would not be able to hear or see and would die. It was too late to get any help.
“It’s already too late.” Kikyoshi said in a voice which brooked no argument. “So, listen carefully, Kaedeo. Take this and burn it with my remains.” He held out the Shikon no Tama to his little brother, handing him his first duty as the new priest of the shrine.
With that, Kikyoshi’s eyes closed slowly though he fought it, his body visibly relaxed and he toppled over into the dirt even as the villagers cried out his name and rushed to his side. He was gone.
Kaedeo, take this and burn this with my remains, so that it will never again fall into evil hands. I shall take the Shikon no Tama with me to the next world.
In the end, there was nothing to do, but follow the last orders of their kannushi, as they burned the ceremonially cleaned and bandaged Kikyoshi in their ritual, the Shikon no Tama clutched in his dead and lifeless hands. And with that, the Shikon no Tama disappeared for many years.
There was still a reminder of that incident though, in the forest that would come to be known as Inuyasha’s Forest. A young female demon pinned to a tree, would serve as a constant reminder of that day.

Character Information (Updated)
Basic Character Profiles
All the profiles are very basic and generally contain only minimalistic details.
This will be updated in the future if need be.
Various grammatical and spelling errors may occur. Draft only at this stage.
Inuyasha/Inuyouko?
Gender: Female
Basic: Half dog demon, half human
Parentage: Dog demon mother (Inu no Ojo?), human father (Izayoiro)
Siblings: Elder half-sister (aloof), Sesshouko
History: Attempted to attain the Shikon no Tama to become a full demon, however fell in love with Kikyoshi and decided to become human, was manipulated into believing she was in a situation of betrayal and sealed to the Goshinboku by Kikyoshi, unsealed 50 years later by Kagome.
Outfit: Red hakama and haori with prayer beads
Name change explanation: I see no reason to change it as such other than the confusion which could ensue surrounding the name. The only way I see that I can change this name, is by restructuring the name entirely, otherwise it loses it's meaning. The problem with Takahashi characters is that their names are always entirely meaningful, where any sort of deviation from this name, renders the name completely useless.
Comments: Too difficult to manipulate name. However, if desired, the Youko used is not the youkou written as 妖狐 meaning fox spirit. The same kanji is used for 'you-' 妖 as in the 'you-' in 'youkai' (demon) and 'hanyou', however the '-ko' is the word for child 子.
Higurashi Kagome/Kagomaru/Kagomoro?
Gender: Male
Basic: Human, has priestly powers
Parentage: Human father, unknown human mother
Siblings: Little sister, Soutako (just add the word for ‘child’ on the end)
History: Modern world child dragged back in time through a well, reincarnation of Kikyoshi, unsealed Inuyasha from the Goshiboku while being chased by the centipede demon
Outfit: Japanese male school uniform resembling Christian priest’s top
Name change explanation: No name change as Kagome is not a real name, thus I rule it genderless. However, can change it to use a male suffix if really desired. (Can reduce confusion.)
Comments: Confusion may ensue, but I doubt it will be that difficult since names were not necessarily changed for Haruhi either. Kagome will doubtless need to be less like his counterpart female Kagome.
Kikyoshi
Gender: Male
Basic: A Shinto priest (kannushi, known as kamunushi previously?), human
Parentage: Unknown (humans)
Siblings: Little brother, Kaedeo (optional?)
History: Prevented Inuyasha from stealing the Shikon no Tama, convinced her to become human, led to believe Inuyasha betrayed him, sealed Inuyasha to the Goshinboku and reincarnated as Kagome.
Outfit: Kariginu and optional eboushi OR jo-e and tate-eboshi (check link below)
Name change explanation: It’s a simple addition of the –shi to make it sound more male.
Comments: Name has lost meaning, however as it wasn’t significant in the first place, it doesn’t matter so much. The kanji can be changed as well anyway, as there are many ways to write kikyo(u).
Kannushi information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kannushi
Miruko
Gender: Female
Basic: human, bhikkhuni (female Buddhist monastic/Zen?)
Parentage: unknown human father, human mother (received Kazaana from her)
Siblings: None/unknown
History: Is successor of a hereditary curse placed on their family, hence hopes to break this curse by killing Naraku, however, she is also rather lecherous and perverted in her flirtatious manner and… unnecessary touching (which is a learned bad habit) but has a more serious motive in wanting to produce an heir to continue her quest if she dies without defeating Naraku. She also travels the countryside performing services, however will sometimes falsify situations to earn comforts. Meets Inuyasha and Kagome in this sort of fashion.
Outfit: Monks robes (indigo Samue), waraji sandals, priest’s staff (research pending)
Name change explanation: Nothing much, just adding of the feminine ko and changing the other slightly. Name has lost all meaning, however has gained a more modern meaning in that it sort of means ‘child that goes around’ which matches the … wandering.
Comments: I feel that Miroku is a failure as a monk, thus Miruko must also be.
Sangokai/Sango
Gender: Male
Basic: Human, youkai taijya (demon slayer)
Parentage: Human mother (taijya), human father unknown
Siblings: Little sister, Kohaku (no name change, is unisex)
History: Taijya village destroyed by Naraku’s demons, brother mind-controlled to kill elite taijya and thus betray them, manipulated to believe that Inuyasha killed her village, attempts to rescue Kohaku, has a male cat demon called Kirara (which appears to be meaningless, this unchanged, if I must though, he will be called Kira)
Outfit: A basic sort of thing that resembles a jinbei, straw zori, ‘leggings’ and ‘armguards’ plus general unisex designed taijya outfit
Name change explanation: Added –kai to make it sound more masculine like (maybe), however the name now means ‘coral sea’ rather than destroying the meaning in the name. However, due to ambiguous nature of name, could remain unchanged.
Comments: I seem to be adding to every name. The boomerang-shaped weapon Hiraikotsu remains as a boomerang, of course.
Narakumi/Onigumoko
Gender: Female
Basic: Human body devoured by demons, thus is officially a hanyou, tries to dispel his human side…
Parentage: Unknown, however, Narakumi was created by being devoured, thus, impossible? Unknown of Onigumoko
Siblings: Unknown, assumed none
History: Was the burned body of Onigumoko, attended to by Kikyoshi, however, was jealous, allowed herself to be devoured gain a proper body, manipulated Kikyoshi and Inuyasha to believe they betrayed each other (you know what I mean) and did evil ‘stuff’ for more than 50 years after that (not explaining), reconfigures body for more power regularly, can create detachments.
Outfit: Various kimonos, baboon ‘outfit’ (cape/hood, really)
Name change explanation: Naraku’s name is the most meaningful of all, which means it’s hard to change, hence I opted for adding once again. Whether it works is disputed. ‘Mi’ can be used for ‘body’ and the like, thus I hope this adds to the name again (not ‘mi’ as in beautiful). Onigumo is also very meaningful, so I just added the word for child again.
Comments: Sorry, but maintenance of meaning in the name is hard! Their names will just get longer. Why does Narakumi give me the image of some sort of succubus now?
Sesshouko
Gender: Female
Basic: Fully-fledged dog demon
Parentage: Dog demon mother, demon father
Siblings: Younger half-sister, Inuyasha
History: Not much to be said. Has a sort of rivalry with sister going on, somewhat aloof, however does not stop from … attacking Inuyasha at any given opportunity. (Nothing has really changed), dislike of humans apart from Rin (ambiguous), the young boy she saved.
Outfit: White haori and hakama set with beehive+flowers patterning , some armour, the ‘fur’.
Name change explanation: As the –maru suffix is only used in male names, it would be somewhat meaningless to keep it in, so although the –ko would, in a way, make Sesshoumaru less of an intimidating force (maybe), it’s somewhat necessary. Or if you don’t like it, pick from –ko, -mi, -e and –yo. ‘-Ko’ still works better than ‘-ka’ though, in my opinion.
Comments: Actually not very pleased with this name.

Inuyasha Seitenkan Start!
Or suutarto, if you want to be Japanese about it. Yes, yes.
Anyway, this is the 'blog' for Inuyasha Seitenkan. Of course, this is only a fan work, and there is only one person writing it, but I hope to make it somewhat of an enjoyable experience.
What is Seitenkan about?
Inuyasha Seitenkan is essentially what it means. Although it actually means 'sex-change', we will call it simply 'gender-bending'. This means the genders of the characters have all been switched around, and it all gets a little crazy, but it's all in good fun.
This whole sort of thing began with various other genderbending things but generally were restricted to making yaoi couples and the like. Pretty much just to form a couple which the fandom wanted. Well, the new trend is to switch all the characters around, like in Suzumiya Haruhi no Seitenkan (The Genderbending of Haruhi Suzumiya).
Doubtless to say, there have already been such images of various characters from Inuyasha being switched of gender, however, this is my take on it. I stress that. This is in no way absolute. Also, all the Inuyasha characters are copyright Takahashi Rumiko-sensei and are in no way my own.
Here's a nice little article for more information: http://bangin.wordpress.com/2008/08/31/%E6%80%A7%E8%BB%A2%E6%8F%9Bseitenkan/
I will also mention their names will be changed to suit their new gender, of course. All the effort will be made to make sure they are actually accurate in some form in Japanese - since I like to be diligent about that sort of thing.
How did this blog begin?
The credit here is not mine. This was first brought up on the forum in inuyashaforums.net. The credit goes to Big Boss.
You can view the thread here: http://inuyashaforums.com/showthread.php?tid=99
Or visit the associated Inuyasha site: http://www.4inuyasha.net/
The format of this will be?
For the most part, written like a fanfiction. I don't have enough of the motivation to draw all of it myself, since I would need to do all this thinking before I draw it, all in all, writing is quite easy. However, illustrations will also be provided... once I get to them, of course!
I have a few sketches at the moment, however, which I can put up.
Additional Information?
Well, I will get to that when I think of it. Feel free to comment for more information.
